Shoe Box History is the archival and autobiographical account of my family’s war journey. Fifteen years ago after helping clean a over cluttered closet, a old well loved shoe box made its presence known.

Looking inside brought about a miraculous discovery, within the box contained hundreds of hand-written letters sent to my grandmother from my grandfather during World War Two. After some brief investigating, flight logs, medals, passports, bullets, papers and a multitude of other items were also discovered.
